چکیده
Allelopathic plants are important resources for the discovery of bioherbicides. Rosebay willowherb [Chamaenerion angustifolium (L.) Scop. syn. Epilobium L.] widely distributes in Western Asia, Europe, and North America, behaves as a dominant species within community due to production substances that restrict growth other plants. This study aims at investigating allelopathic potential rosebay by evaluation effects aqueous extracts from different parts on seed germination seedling lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.), well measuring accumulation reactive oxygen structural analysis root tips via scanning electron transmission microscopy. It was observed leaves had strongest inhibitory effect index, energy total seeds, followed capsular fruits flowers, inhibition stems weakest. All (100 mg/mL) showed significant radicle elongation seedlings. Additionally, after treatment with extract leaves, increased columella cells, which correlated disruption tip structure.

1. The leaf tannin of willow-herb [Chamaenerion angustifolium (L.) Scop.] has been isolated and separated into two fractions of differing solubility. 2. The tannin contains a penta-O-galloyl-beta-d-glucose core to which further galloyl groups are depsidically bound. 3. The unfractionated tannin contains an average of 10.5 galloyl groups/glucose molecule; the soluble fraction has on average 7.6 ...
متن کاملAllelopathic Effect of Decomposed Garlic (allium Sativum L.) Stalk on Lettuce (l. Sativa Var. Crispa L.)
Garlic (Allium sativum L.) stalk is a byproduct and normally the waste of garlic production but now is thought a good biological resource. It is necessary to utilize this resource efficiently and reasonably to reduce environment pollution and achieve agricultural sustainable development. The allelopathy of decomposed garlic stalk at different ratios (0:100, 1:100, 3:100 and 5:100) was investiga...
متن کاملAllelopathic Potentials of Medicinal Plant, Vinca rosea L.
Allelopathy offers potential for weed control through the production and release of allelochemicals from leaves, flowers, seeds, stems and roots. In this research, allelopathy potentials of ethanolic and aqueous extracts of Vinca rosea L. leaves were evaluated. Three extract concentrations, including 2.5, 5 and 10% (w/v) of both aqueous and ethanolic were prepared from a 10% w/v stock solution...
متن کاملBiochemical Impact of Dominant Extracts of Scots Pine Cuttings on Germination
The main objective of this study was to determine the allelopathic impact of dominant species (Calamagrostis epigeios, Rubus idaeus and Chamaenerion angustifolium) of clear-cuttings of Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris L.) forests (Vaccinio-myrtillo Pinetum) on test species germination emphasizing the forest ecosystem establishment. Aqueous extracts of roots and shoots were produced at different gro...

The present study aimed the evaluation of allelopathic effect of hydroalcoholic extract from the aerial parts of Mikania scandens (L.) Willd. (Asteraceae); against the germination and radicle growth of Cicer arietinum and Triticum aestivum seeds. The extract at different concentrations was incubated in controlled conditions with the surface sterilized seeds of C. arietinum and T. aestivum and o...
